BREAKING IN THE Wii

So this here pajama kid got "the best birthday present EVER!!!" in the mail today from good ol Grandma. At first he was a little confused on what it was.. not white...or black... but RED! Once he figured it out there was joy beaming out of him from head to toe. He was very patient in letting me figure out how to get it all connected and set up for him... that was a joyous moment for me. It is not always easy being a non techy mom let alone sharing that room with an anxious "are you done yet" asking kid. So thank you Grandma you made his day..week!

These motions were done for several minutes.

"NO games until you let me cut that shaggy hair of yours." I think it might just work!
Is this wrong of me?  = O

I WOULD NEVER LEAVE..

if I rested my head in this whimsical fairy tale like bed. Sweetest land for dreams.

WESTONS SIXTH BIRTHDAY

I am actually very disappointed in myself for not taking many pictures. I think I was so overwhelmed with everything around me and involved in all the excitement and chaos that it didn't even cross my mind. So a slap on the hand for me from me. Bad mommy! Over all Weston had a wonderful birthday filled with gift destroying, screaming, and cupcakes!

THANKSGIVING SPIRIT SO SOON..

I know I am a little ahead of myself but I was extremely into the whole Thanksgiving warm colors kinda spirit today and had an itch to be creative in some form. So.. I did a little DIY door wreath. I fancy the end result.

"TRICK or TREAT"

This was officially our first "holiday" spent in Portland. It has been raining for the past week with terribly chilly weather but to our luck it was perfect out! Not to cold and no sign of rain. Weston recovered from his fever just in time. We didn't go full force with door to door trick or treating but he still did pretty good in the candy department. The second we got home Weston darted to the table and dumped all the candy out and separate it in two piles... his pile and moms pile (which consisted of all Reeses cups). He knows where my heart is that little love! Weston is still prancing around the house in his costume and says " I am going to keep this on for years!" Oh dear.
Here are some pictures of my ninja and mini giraffe. Enjoy!

Now were looking forward to Thanksgiving!

SOME GOOD TUNES FOR Y'ALL TO HEAR

"PIECES FROM MY DAY"

My pretty Betty. Such a wonderful lovely kitty she has been through out the years.
Peace and love.. It's his new "picture" thing.
..
Love these boots! Though I am terrified of slipping in them.. sooo I walk like I am on ice when I wear them. What you do for cute shoes.
Do not... what ever you do.. mess with a one year old. He sure told me :x
One of my favorite skirts of all time. I adore you Anthropologie! I think I scored on this skirt..$10.
Curled up under a blanket and read a little Nancy Drew this afternoon as the rain pitter pattered outside.

Westons daily treasure to Mommy! I love the things he brings home to me. Jut melts my heart. ♥

The funny little things

Kavin does. I walk away for a second to find him sitting inside the Tonka truck. I still cant figure out how he got in there in the first place. Such a silly little guy. This is one reason I love being a mom. Your day is always filled with tiny surprises and cute things to always keep a smile on your face and make you giggle.
